A Journey of Recovery: Hear from our co-founder Lee
I started drinking at 14, and over the years, alcohol became a way to cope with loss and struggle. After my marriage breakdown, things got harder, and I found myself turning to cocaine as well.
I stopped in 2019, but when I lost my business of 22 years to Covid, I relapsed and I wasn’t ready to truly listen. It took a few more setbacks, before I finally surrendered on February 6, 2023.
That’s when my real journey began, and when I rediscovered My Life.
I’m now surrounded by loving relationships, doing meaningful work, and supported by friends and family.
If you’re struggling, know this: it’s never too late to change. No matter how dark things feel, there’s always hope for a brighter tomorrow.
What is an addiction?
Addiction is when a behaviour or substance becomes difficult to control, even when it’s causing harm to your wellbeing, relationships, or daily life. But with the right support, change is possible.
