Who can apply

We have clear signup criteria for therapists to ensure clients receive the right support tailored to their personal journey.

  • Recognised reqistration via UKCP, BACP (L4+), HCPC, BABCP, or BPS (Level 7+ preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification clinical experience
  • Active professional indemnity insurance (meets minimum cover)
  • Good professional standing (no sanctions)
  • Competent in online therapy delivery
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (where applicable)

Our application process

Becoming part of My Life is straightforward. We’re looking for accredited therapists who share our commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.

Pre-application check

Before we begin, we’ll need to verify your qualifications and right to work in the UK.

Your details

We’ll need your name, email address, and phone number to get started with your application.

Application documents

We’ll ask you to upload your CV and provide proof of professional indemnity insurance as part of your application.

Interview stage

We’ll arrange a conversation to get to know you, your approach to therapy, and how you’d like to support our members.

Successful candidates

Once your contract is signed, you’ll receive access to the My Life platform and can begin connecting with clients who need you support.

compliance & privacy standards

We take compliance and data handling seriously to protect your privacy and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality. All personal information is securely stored and managed in line with relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

Profile data

Each therapist profile includes key details such as a universally unique identifier (UUID), current status (Live/Inactive), approval date, qualifications, and areas of specialism.


Secure storage

Each therapist application includes images for ID, address, right-to-work, qualifications, insurance, and DBS.


Audit trail

The reviewer’s decision includes notes and pass/fail assessments for ID verification and final approval.
